Quirky old Schloss in the heart of Drosendorf. Big room on the cool side of the building which we really appreciated given the current high temps. Bathroom nothing flash but as good we expected. The hotel was a very pleasant surprise for us. We liked its location in the green valley of the Thaya (Dyje) river. We could enjoy the view of the river and listen to the sound of water on the stones.
We slept well with this sound. Thanks to the nets, we could have our window open. The bed was comfortable.
The hotel has a relatively large plot of land. We had a great time relaxing in the wellness area of the hotel. The pool is not big, but it felt luxurious thanks to the color, water jets, waterfall and lights. You can use the sunbeds and swings around the pool.
The restaurant offered us a tasty dinner in the courtyard of the hotel, willingly adapting the food for people with allergies. Breakfast was served on the sunny terrace on the other side. We all found what we wanted for breakfast. The staff was helpful and nice. We will definitely return to this hotel when we are in the area.
