We stayed one night at Hotel Platz and we had a great experience. Auffach is about half an hour drive from the Allpbach, but Auffach itself is a very nice village. There is free parking space outside the hotel. We had booked a double room but they gave us an upgrade to a quadruple which was great! The bathroom was big and there was an extra wc. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and there was a small balcony with nice views of the village. The breakfast was really great with many choices and we decided also to have our dinner at the hotel which was a good choise. We recommend hotel Platz and we will return there on our next trip in Austria!

Excellent service, great breakfast, very nice room and other facilities. Isabella at the front desk was exceptionally helpful. The property itself is very nice, the heated pool is a must to experience.
The family-run Aparthaus Sonnenhof enjoys a quiet location only a 3-minute walk from Alpbach and the shops. The stop of the free ski bus is just 200 metres away.

This was a return visit (two years after our first) where we found the same warm but professional welcome, excellent accommodation, fabulous breakfast and superb garden.

This place is really good value. It’s not five star in one sense (top hotels), but for a mountain chalet guest house it was perfect. Excellent breakfast. Good service throughout. The downstairs studio we had was spacious but had parked cars (including ours) right outside. But in the first week of August it wasn’t noisy. Very much on the main street with no grounds, but worked really well for us.

It’s a wonderful property located just outside Hopfgarten (10 mins walking).
The owners are amazing,so welcoming friendly and kind,it has been like being part of their family.
Our apartment was super big and comfy with everything that you need and more.
We will surely be back for the ski season for sure.

There were enough choices for having a breakfast. The Terras had an amazing beautiful view of the mountains. I contacted Andreas during our booking if we could change for another room. And they said it was possible, and will arrange it when we arrive. So when we arrive the receptionist was very kind and helpful. She showed us the room we booked and also the other apartment and we could choose which we wanted for just a little extra fee. So we had the whole apartment for ourselves. Apartment with a balcony, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bathroom. Its nice there is a fridge. But too bad no Freeze section. I would recommend to stay at Andreas.
