Definitely recommend visiting the lounge on the 10th floor for drinks (some are free in the evening) and a very pretty small shop, full of locally sourced products (culinary and small arts). After our evening Onsen round, the hotel offered amazing Soba to close the night. We took the breakfast in the morning and were not disappointed, as it features plenty of very delicious options.

Free pick-up shuttles are provided from JR Otsu Station, a 5-minute ride away. Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the property. The location is good, next to the lake. We drove there and the parking was spacious. The public bath area was good and very clean, but there were many people after dinner. The hotel provides shuttle bus to the train station, although we didn't use it. There was a mistake during the parking that even though the ticket was scanned at the front desk, the machine charged us for the parking. The reception was really helpful and reimburse the expense by cash right away. Thank you very much.

Food and private onsen were great too.

Firstly getting picked up by the hotels bus/van at the train station was EXTREMELY Convenient. They loaded all our bags and even loaded them in carts at the hotel to bring to the front desk. Check in was quick and they brought the bags to our room and showed us what the room had to offer. My Wife and I had the Deluxe Japanese Style Room with the balcony that had a private Onsen tub outside the room. The place was beautiful with the room clean and very spacious! The Balcony has a beautiful view of the Lake and the Onsen Hot tub was hot and relaxing! They had a variety of Yukata to wear and free drinks on the first floor. We went outside on the first floor veranda to enjoy the night air. We saw some kittens playing on the premises which was a great bonus! Then we had our special Kaiseki dinner, which was great! Course after course went by and the food was great, especially the local Omi Beef! Then we went exploring the area and checked out the "library" where we just relaxed and had complementary snacks and drinks. Then the foot pool and the public Onsen on premises. We got a couples massage after and went back to the room to relax and soak in the private Onsen again. The next morning we had a buffet breakfast with all the normal fare, but also some unique Japanese choices such as fish to grill on the grill, curry rice, and Onsen Tamago(Egg). Checking out was easy and the ride back via bus from the hotel was much appreciated!

The Japanese-style rooms have tatami (woven-straw) flooring with modern furnishings and futon bedding. Each room features a private bathroom with a bathtub made of Cypress wood, filled with hot water from the local hot spring. Everything was as stated but the food was incredible! So good, so well made, so nicely presented, just wonderful:)

Everything Staff was very Nice and wanted us to be happy even if they werent used to foreigner. They did theyre best.
