Traditionally, onsens were located outdoors but a number of hotels also offer indoor facilities for private or shared use. The healing properties of each onsen will vary depending on its location, with ‘kuroyu’ black water known for its positive effects on skin.
This was by far the best hotel stay I have ever had. The hotel owners are incredibly nice and accommodating. We stayed at Soli Hospitale during a typhoon. The owners even provided us with food and helped us with our onward journey. Thank you very much for this incredibly relaxing stay. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are large and nicely furnished and there are great free snacks. We hope to have the opportunity to stay at this great hotel again.
Brad was very nice and accommodating! Although I arrived earlier than expected (and before check-in time) he took his time and checked me in, showed me everything and gave me food recommendations for things I like to eat! Very clean hostel and just a few minutes walking distance from the station. Supermarket and Family Mart next to the hostel.
The owner was super nice! She even drove us to the train station since we had heavy backpacks and luggages. Her English was amazing so it was easy to communicate. This made everything way easier.
We spent 17 nights in the little apartment and enjoyed it very much.
The room was very clean and (this is important to me) had big windows, so you could see the town and the sun.
It was very quiet, even tho restaurants are close by.
The beds were very comfy.
The staff were the absolute best. They did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. Language barrier but we communicated through google easily and the most loveliest people you will ever meet. Amazing rooms, very clean and tidy. My partner and i had a room and both of my adult kids had a room each and the rooms were perfect. Definitely one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at.
Great hot springs motel, lots of space. There is a sofa and a big TV. The breakfast was great and value for money. Will come again next time I have a chance. The staff is also very friendly.
