A pension close (very close) to the ski slope. Excellent host, who drove me to the slope very day. Even tho you could walk it. Basic, but everything needed for a few days of skiing. An ofuro meant an achey body was ready for the next day.

The food is really fantastic, hand made by the chief.
The hospitality that we received from the staff is really good, and they are willing to help us search for our friends during a heavy down pour
Featuring traditional Japanese hot springs known as ‘onsen’, these hotels allow you to take a relaxing soak in therapeutic geothermal waters. Traditionally, onsens were located outdoors but a number of hotels also offer indoor facilities for private or shared use. The healing properties of each onsen will vary depending on its location, with ‘kuroyu’ black water known for its positive effects on skin.
Exceptional service throughout from the front counter staff, the staff in the dining room, and the various other departments.
I was not able to get her name, but the very nice lady who served us our dinner provided exceptional service. The ryokan accommodated us even though we were late for our dinner and frazzled from a long day trip. Her service and cheerful disposition calmed our nerves.
We had our personal onsen in our room. It was so calming and relaxing.
Beautiful, friendly, welcoming staff, beautiful gardens and location. Traditional Japanese experience with futon beds, traditional rooms and amazing indoor and outdoor onsen. Traditional Japanese meals served by the lovely staff.
Large lake-view room. Our fourth stay at this hotel and it didn't disappoint. Good food and you can hire a private onsen. It's a lovely relaxing place to stay.
Open air onsen was wonderful, and free ice cream afterwards.
Room had plenty of space for luggage, well planned room.
Beds very comfy. Everything very clean.
Staff friendly and helpful, check in easy.
Easy 20 minute walk from station. Tourist information office at station gave us very clear instructions using lifts, etc to access road crossings.
Friendly staff, they tried their best to speak English to us.
Affordable price with hot spring in city centre.
Hot spring is good, large enough.
Free Ramen in night time which taste good,
Bathroom is large enough.
Can put our luggage before check-in time.
We love everything about this Hotel. The place, the food, thechotspring onsen, and especially the staff. They were so attentive, very polite, and service minded. The service here is as good as 5-star hotel. The japanese dinner was great. We had a really wonderful stay 👍😄. Highly recommended!
Room was very clean, hotel is perfectly located right next to the station and the staff is very good. Staff helped me to make a reservation for an onsen which was difficult to access.
10/10 for me.
