Food (both breakfast and dinner) equivalent to some of the Michelin star restaurants.

It was one of the best experiences in my life. Together with my Wife we enjoyed it very much. Super hospitality and warmth. But the dinner.. wow 🤩 blew my mind. 11 dishes with excellent style and amazing taste. Highly recommended

Beautiful oasis in the best location, right between all public Onsens and by the river. Staff is incredibly friendly and very helpful. The food was excellent- albeit sometimes testing our western taste buds. We loved having private Onsens that we can use together on site. The lobby and dining areas are wonderfully designed.

One of the most pleasant hotel experiences I have ever had, the staff were a highlight of our stay - they couldn't have been more accommodating and welcoming from the moment we checked in. The hotel itself is beautiful, well situated in the middle of all of the onsens in Kinosaki, and also operates its own restaurant and craft brewery right next door. The room was incredibly spacious, and we had an amazing view of the canals and willow trees that made for a perfect place to enjoy tea or morning coffee. The bed rolls were comfortable, as were the complimentary slippers and yukata for onsen hopping. We didn't opt for the meal, instead visited a few restaurants while we were in Kinosaki. We did enjoy the private onsen inside the hotel, particularly the wooden outdoor barrel.
A 5-minute walk from the Kinosaki Onsen Ropeway, Japanese inn 城崎温泉 但馬屋-Tajimaya- features luxurious accommodation and cuisine, hot spring baths and free Wi-Fi throughout the property.

Lovely ryokan with helpful and friendly staff, good private baths, close to onsen in the town, lovely food
Featuring traditional Japanese hot springs known as ‘onsen’, these hotels allow you to take a relaxing soak in therapeutic geothermal waters. Traditionally, onsens were located outdoors but a number of hotels also offer indoor facilities for private or shared use. The healing properties of each onsen will vary depending on its location, with ‘kuroyu’ black water known for its positive effects on skin.
The location is great-- very close to the train station and an easy walk to all the onsens. It is above a coffee shop with great coffee and a foot soak area (the reception is the coffee shop counter). They give you a basket with towels and socks for toting to the onsens, which is much appreciated. The room was spare, but incredibly clean. The internet worked well. Breakfast was simple but good (yogurt, toast, hard boiled egg, slaw, sausage and coffee).
Absolutely fantastic location, just opposite the station and within walking distance of restaurants and onsens. Nice to have a private bathroom which isn’t always an option in Japan.
great location right next to the station. a great cafe on the ground floor and foot bath. rooms were big, bright and had private bathroom!!! (something very difficult to find in Kinosaki) - no shower but I guess you bathe at the onsens
the place is clean and well appointed. the staff is super friendly. the location is wonderful, just one minute to the train station and the onsen. the breakfast is great. it has all the facilities you can expect from a hotel but newer, except for the lack of shower. you make it up by going to the onsen next door. I will stay again next time with my family.
