One of the best places/experiences I've stayed at.
The outdoor various onsen tubs with different scents with that woodland relaxing view is simply magical.
Rotating male/female areas every day also gives a great different experience.
Massage chairs were also good.

Well-located with our room facing Lake Toya and view of the fireworks at the lake was fabulous ! Tenqoo onsen was a great spot to enjoy with the stars too. Staff are very professional, dedicated and polite. Love them from counter service, housekeeping, restaurant (La Vent) to the kitchen crew.

Fantastic. This is a hotel but in the style of a ryoken. I had half board and was served some amazing delicacies for dinner. Breakfast was also provided with a huge choice. Both breakfast and dinner were traditional Japanese meals. No Western food at all, which made it such a great experience. Lots of fresh produce, especially seafood.
Drinks were provided from 3pm free. Including sake.
The onsen was wonderfully hot, and there is a cute hand spa out the front. It is very convenient right on town and a few minutes from the lake. Also, I was able to do some of the local hikes into the foothills. The Konpirra - yama Foot route is great.
Highly recommend this hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Even free bikes for rental.
Featuring traditional Japanese hot springs known as ‘onsen’, these hotels allow you to take a relaxing soak in therapeutic geothermal waters. Traditionally, onsens were located outdoors but a number of hotels also offer indoor facilities for private or shared use. The healing properties of each onsen will vary depending on its location, with ‘kuroyu’ black water known for its positive effects on skin.
First impression was positive as there was staff who helped us unload our luggage and we managed to switch my fellow traveller's room from a smoking to non-smoking room. Impressed by the enormous lobby and the large private onsen in my room on 11th floor.
The onsen was wonderful with baths both outdoors and indoors. The selection of food at the buffet meals was diverse and pretty good. The staff that greeted us were very friendly, as well as those in the restaurant.
Everything amazing,
Room amazing with private onsen.
Breakfast dinner very delicious.
Staff helpful and friendly.
We will back and love to stay here again.
The hot spring is the best part, huge area with various kinds to try. The food is great as well, incorporated with local produce, overall very happy with the stay.
