Featuring traditional Japanese hot springs known as ‘onsen’, these hotels allow you to take a relaxing soak in therapeutic geothermal waters. Traditionally, onsens were located outdoors but a number of hotels also offer indoor facilities for private or shared use. The healing properties of each onsen will vary depending on its location, with ‘kuroyu’ black water known for its positive effects on skin.
Excellent value. Very clean room and public areas, comfortable bed, convenient location for an easy stop en route, shops and restaurants within walking distance. Parking at the door. Ample and inexpensive breakfast. Pleasant staff. For a comfortable inexpensive stay - difficult to improve on this hotel....as long as you ask for a room not facing the sound road, just metres from the hotel.

There was a real sense of history about this hotel, with many famous faces associated with it. The author Paul Coelho spent two years living here because it is close to Lourdes( where he liked to spend New Years Eve) and the heating is good!
Very good facilities, secure garage nearby, rear entrace to property, very comfortable bed, lots of nice touches in the very clean room (eg good quality monogrammed towels in bathroom) and hotel (eg chess set and piano in comfortable lounge area). Good breakfast (maybe the apricots were straight from the tree in the courtyard?) Location perfect for town centre stroll to look round and for restraunts. Good recommendations from monsieur for restaurants. Good place to stop on way to the Pyrenees.
A very clean and spacious apartment. It has all the amenities that you would need. It's location is excellent, less than 10 minutes walking to the centre of town, or to the beautiful park. Railway station about 15 minutes away. The host was very quick to respond, to our messages.
Ville très calme was a beautiful compact apartment that had all the amenities you could ask for. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the cooking facilities were great. We had no trouble parking close to the accommodation and it was an easy walk into the city centre. The owner was very welcoming and helpful.
Very clean and secure property, and close to the train station. Mariel, the host, was really friendly and helpful, she tried her best to accommodate and ask me what I need despite our language barrier. Definitely will come back! Highly recommended! ❤️
