Traditionally, onsens were located outdoors but a number of hotels also offer indoor facilities for private or shared use. The healing properties of each onsen will vary depending on its location, with ‘kuroyu’ black water known for its positive effects on skin.

If you're looking for a clean, well located hostel. It's your place to go. The hostel is very cute and with an eye for details decorated - even the toilets. The beds have curtains and a locker. The check in and out is very easy. The kitchen is very clean and well equipped - there is even a microwave.
We found the room spacious and comfortable. Everything throughout the hotel was very clean and tidy it also felt very quiet so I imagine they had more business users than tourists while we were there. We also found the staff very professional and helpful, the one time I contacted the reception someone from house keeping was at our door in just a couple of minutes
Great location, very clean, large comfortable bed, air conditioning. Small fridge. Friendly helpful staff. Close to the Prado museum, Retiro park and tapas bars and restaurants.
Amazing location. Right in the center, next to Plaza Mayor. Super close to Gran Via. And all the other attractions were in walking distance. Very clean, not loud.
