The location of the hotel was excellent, but then the staff made the stay so wonderful with their helpfulness (They helped me check in early and check out late according to my travel plans.) One of the unexpected delights was the beautiful bathtub with views of the city lights - after a busy day out touring, to relax in the bath and have 180 degree views was such a treat. I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a central city location.
Location of the hotel was good. The staff were generally ok but could be more responsive and conversant in spoken English. The size of the room was decent in accordance to the pricing.

when i booked said ”pay now” but end up still pay at property... price was different when I booked for these 2 options...make it hard for my family...cuz they fly to Shanghai don't have very convenient way to pay ... That's why I choosed to pay beforehand for them...I'm not with them.... messaged property about this ...no one replied and didn't take my concern into account at all...
Room is good overall ...but according to my family ...shower has no curtains ....after shower...water went all over the floor...
Good location for Disneyland ❤️ and there's a shuttle bus send us and fetch us everyday to/from Disneyland. And the hotel driver, hotel staffs, will update us everything via weChat group chat. Definitely will back to Novotel again when we go to Shanghai Disneyland ❤️ highly recommended for those travel with kids 😍
Overall, the rooms are clean and nice, and it is convenient to get to the airport. The staff says that it’s impossible to walk to the airport from there and I didn’t try. But they have a shuttle bus that works according to their schedule which is efficient. The rooms have the basic amenities and the shower is nice.
We booked Novotel Atlantis as we had stayed there before before Covid and it was pleasant... But much has now changed!! What has not changed is the amazing views you can get of Shanghai and the river from the higher floors, especially if you are allocated a corner room [with two aspect views]. Also, the size of hte rooms is good and the bed OK...
