We loved everything about our stay at the Novotel Brisbane South Bank! Everything about our stay there exceeded our expectations, from the super comfortable room to the beautiful Bastille Day decorations, the superb breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, the location, the gym, and the pool - attention to detail was better than in much more expensive hotels, and this made our stay even more enjoyable. We look forward to staying here (the perfect base for exploring Brisbane) during our next visit!

Very clean, comfortable and tidy and excellent location, easy access to the station and not too far a walk to get into the city. Staff were excellent, polite and helpful. Great value for the price - note the hours, reception is not 24 hours so plan accordingly.
I booked into Mercure as my sister and husband were travelling and staying in the Pullman. When I booked in I was encouraged to join Accord and got the Wifi. Then I was given a room in the Pullman sections that far exceeded the room my famiy had in the Pullman section eg beautiful soft, thick, towels!
The location suited me as it was close to my conference venue but the proximity to the Novotel mean excessive noise early in the morning, particularly when the rubbish dumpsters were being rolled out
The hotel was very convenient for the airport. Our family dropped us off there the night before our flight home to England. We were given an upgrade to an executive suite which was lovely for our last night in Australia. The staff are professional but very friendly. We used the restaurant which was really nice with something for everyone on the menu. We use Novotel hotels in England and are always very happy.
