We arrived late because of NYC traffic but we just called in to let them know ahead and we were still able to check in no problem. The cabin was very cozy and had everything you could need.

Free Wi-Fi access is available. convenient self check-in, drive up to door of room motel style, comfortable rooms, although there are motel rooms we booked the multi room apartment with 2 floors, huge excellently equipped, newly finished kitchen, twin sub Z, icemaker/cold water dispenser in room, 2 comfortable living room areas, automatic reclining sofa, two large TVs in downstairs rooms, own semi-private outdooor/garden area! Fire pit outside the front lawn to mingle with other guests.

Very friendly employee at the office who gave us a map of Bennington and some recommendations where to eat and what to visit. The room was big enough for our baby soon to crawl around and play on his mat with his toys. Bathroom worked very well, parking is right in front of the door. Wifi worked great as well.

The location is in a small community but close to other small communities with a short commute provided an opportunity to visit and enjoy the beauty of the area. The facility is small and comfortable. The service is outstanding and the staff could not have been more professional.

Rooms at the Outbound Stowe have a separate sitting area and cable TV. The property was clean, tidy and modern. We absolutely loved this hotel and the fact that the bar and entertainment area was separate but on the property. This hotel offers exceptional customer experience right from beginning. Huge shout out to the awesome bloke at the bar that ensured that we were looked after at the bar, he gave us outstanding service and made us feel welcome, thank you mate, you are an absolute legend 🙌🏽

Guests can enjoy mountain views. A superb stay at this lovely LGBT-friendly motel in gorgeous Vermont during late September. A lot of love has gone into this motel and it shows - from the warm cinnamon welcome in the lobby to the exceptionally clean and tidy room. My mum and I stayed in the yellow sunflower room; a double with 2 big comfy beds and an ensuite bathroom (with toilet, sink and shower) and views overlooking the pretty front and back gardens - had the weather been better, we'd have been out there in the chairs soaking up the view! Our room had the self-catering essentials (fridge & microwave) along with a few complimentary snacks. Shelly was lovely to chat with and very helpful in recommending local eateries, supermarkets, and sightseeing - we initially came for the Robert Frost house but she suggested Hildene when we checked out (which we did visit and were thoroughly impressed by!) My mum and I slept brilliantly and despite being on historic route 7a, there was zero road noise. We stayed in several big name hotels during our holiday, and can honestly say that Governor's Rock Motel was one of the best stays of all! Nothing was too much trouble; comfort, cleanliness and friendliness was a major plus. An exceptional motel, would definitely return!! Thank you Shelly & Lisa for a fantastic stay 😊
