Free Wi-Fi access is available. This property far exceeded our expectations. Such a good layout with lots of extras. Lots of room and a large comfortable bed. Location was great and being able to walk next door to the diner/ice cream shop was a bonus. The entry lock system was brilliant and one of the best & easiest we've ever used. The short video explaining it was awesome. Everything worked, seemed quite new. TV had lots of stations. You can park right outside your unit so that's super convenient. We were so pleased we stayed here!! Would thoroughly recommend.

A lot of love has gone into this motel and it shows - from the warm cinnamon welcome in the lobby to the exceptionally clean and tidy room. My mum and I stayed in the yellow sunflower room; a double with 2 big comfy beds and an ensuite bathroom (with toilet, sink and shower) and views overlooking the pretty front and back gardens - had the weather been better, we'd have been out there in the chairs soaking up the view! Our room had the self-catering essentials (fridge & microwave) along with a few complimentary snacks. Shelly was lovely to chat with and very helpful in recommending local eateries, supermarkets, and sightseeing - we initially came for the Robert Frost house but she suggested Hildene when we checked out (which we did visit and were thoroughly impressed by!) My mum and I slept brilliantly and despite being on historic route 7a, there was zero road noise. We stayed in several big name hotels during our holiday, and can honestly say that Governor's Rock Motel was one of the best stays of all! Nothing was too much trouble; comfort, cleanliness and friendliness was a major plus. An exceptional motel, would definitely return!! Thank you Shelly & Lisa for a fantastic stay 😊
