I travel to Los Angeles frequently for work, and have stayed at Motel Sakura many times. It is the best motel I’ve ever stayed in. The owners are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are all spacious, modern and clean. I always have a great experience when I stay here, and will continue to frequent this motel. There is a reason they have such great reviews!
Surprised as they offered a lot of choices for breakfast based on the price. After I checked out, they let me stay in the lobby to continue working remotely, thanks so much
Nice Motel, we were there for 2 nights. The room was big enough and very clean. We didn‘t hear any street noise. The bathroom is large with a nice shower. The room includes a microwave, a fridge and an electric kettle. Easy check-in and check-out, everyone is very friendly and helpful. We recommend the motel and would be happy to come back.😀

The front reception was very clean and smelled good. This property used to be motel 6. I was expecting to walk in smelling good since I’ve selected non-smoke. Instead I walked in with my children with marijuana smell in my room. Mind you Motel 6 charges $65 per night. I was charged $150.00per night. I was very disappointed and dissatisfied. I had to leave my ID at the front desk for a hair blow dryer? The floor was sticky. The area has many homeless front of the entrance.
Room was very clean, staff very friendly and location was good for visiting the Warner Bros Studios. Free parking and complimentary tea,coffee and morning pastries was a great bonus.
Very friendly staff, very organized and helpful. The room was beyond clean, I was impressed! I felt really safe at this location, the motel has gates that gets closed at specific time and only guests can enter.
Motel Sakura is a lovely decorated place to stay, the facilities are immaculately clean and provide a lovely comfort for our stay, the addition of close gated parking at the front not only provides us a feeling of safety but also a great place to park your car at night. The standout part of our stay was how helpful and friendly Chris at the front desk is, he provided us with all the help we needed, was super friendly and a credit to the motel.
Everything about The Tangerine was great!! From the courteous and helpful staff to the cleanliness, and the comfort of the facility -- all was top notch! Now keep in mind that this is really a motel, not a hotel. It was originally built in the 50s and is styled as an old motor lodge, so it doesn't have the kind of support that a hotel would. That being said, it is an adorable little place and has been remodeled and kept up very well.
