Private parking is available on site. Everything about this place is exceptional - the location is the star of the show with the motel being set directly on the lake. Our room was just steps away from the heated pool, hot tub, deck with fire pit and grill overlooking the lake and the private beach. To be able to eat breakfast on the deck, go for a morning swim in the lake then warm up in the hot tub was bliss. Equally, eating dinner on the deck then watching the sun set sat warm around the fire pit was the perfect way to end the day. The rooms were large and spotless, thoughtful touches like good quality coffee and hot chocolate were provided, all the staff from the front desk to the housekeeping to the pool cleaner were warm and helpful, and the other guests were friendly and considerate. The location really can’t be beaten - we’ve stayed all over the world in places ranging from backpacker to luxury and to get those facilities in that kind of location at that price point is unheard of. Absolutely wonderful in every way, we will certainly be back (and will stay for longer next time)!
Minden
Carson Valley Motor Lodge and Extended Stay is adjacent to the Carson Valley Inn hotel/casino. Guests have access to the Carson Valley Inn's business centre and indoor pool area, which includes 2 glass enclosed spa tubs. The room I reserved was not in the hotel facilities but in an alternate building. next to a gas station. we should have paid more to stay inside the hotel

I got the room # and the door code before the check in time. The bed was very comfortable. It was a very nice experience, I definitely will go back to this place!

We only stayed one night and wish it could have been longer. Easy self check in with a request for an earlier check in accommodated. Room was a good size and spotlessly clean. The fire place was a nice touch and made the room really cosy. We were delighted with this hotel after being on the road for many days/nights. Good location and definitely value for money.

Nicely positioned affordable motel right off the central main street in South Lake Tahoe. Trenton the manager gave us a great couple of recommendations for dinner which were only a short walk away. Plenty of parking. Great bagels and plenty of coffee in the morning for breakfast, but fruit hadn't been delivered that day. We were invited to leave our car parked after checkout while we explored the town
This is a clean and comfortable, basic motel. The motor lodge is across the parking lot from the inn and restaurant, a five-minute walk. Everything works, the room is clean and bright, a little pricey but good, reliable quality and comfort. They now have new key fobs in place of the key cards that were not working. The restaurant is reasonable for breakfast.
This hotel is walking distance to everything (2mins). The room we stayed in was modern. Self check in can be tricky but works very well. Free parking on site. Would definitely stay again!
At night the property had well lit parking lot as well as at the motel doors that made me feel secure for me as well as my car
Typical roadside motel, nothing exceptional, nothing bad. No weird smells. Lots of hot water.
Location in Tahoe City with walking distance to lake and restaurants. Short drive to Alpine Meadows & Palisades or Transit Center to pick up TART (although we snagged last minute parking reservations). Extra parking in back of building. Call ahead if you are going to check in late so they can set up a lock box. Excellent wifi if you need to work remotely. Long desk in room for work needs. Much better condition than Best Value down the road and with bigger room. They've clearly put in effort to paint & remodel bathroom.
The Elet Hotel is modern and good looking motel type of accommodation with newly equipped rooms and free parking in the property's private parking lot. Breakfast wasn't included however small snack was prepared to our room what was enough for fast start in the morning. Staff was very nice and helpful. I wish to visit this place during winter.
