Just 4 minutes’ drive from Lake Wanaka, the property features free WiFi and barbecue facilities. Spacious rooms with en-suite. Perfect for family of 4. Beautiful views from each windows. Very quite during the night. We will definitely visit again next time if we revisit Wānaka. Short drive (walkable) to town centre.

Archway Motels & Chalets offers quiet and secluded accommodation, only 200 metres from Lake Wanaka. Set on 2 acres of gardens featuring native trees, tulips, roses and fruit trees, the spacious grounds include a covered BBQ area with picnic tables. Great location right above the city center, all the restaurants are within walking distance and even one of the wineries (the Maude winery) was right behind the corner, so we paid it a visit. The lady at the reception was very friendly and overall super helpful. The room was very clean, the kitchen well equipped and the A/C was a great addition (apparently you can’t find it in every hotel in NZ). We only stayed for one night, but it would be perfect for a longer vacation. It it also very calm and I can imaging that it’s quite kids friendly.

Otago Business Park is 700 metres away and University of Otago is 500 metres from the motel. Location, cleanliness of the room, amenities (especially air conditioning), off-street parking.

Opened in January 2017, the adults only Cromwell Escape is located 3.7 km from Central Otago District Council in Cromwell and only 100 meters from the new Lake Dunstan cycle trail. Cromwell Escape features free WiFi access. This is the gold standard of cleanliness , and hospitality. The position in front of the lake is beautiful with a bench to sit on to admire the view.

The Motel has ski/bike storage space and is within an easy drive from Cardrona and Treble Cone ski fields. Clean and good size room💕 When we arrived,all the things were ready. ( ex.turn on the air conditioning ) Manager was always there to help,friendly and kind.
