Opened in January 2017, the adults only Cromwell Escape is located 3.7 km from Central Otago District Council in Cromwell and only 100 meters from the new Lake Dunstan cycle trail. Cromwell Escape features free WiFi access. Very clean room. Bed is so comfortable that you will be reluctant to leave the bed 😅 Toilet is very clean and ample hot water for long showers. Kitchenette is very well-equipped. WiFi is very strong and the TV in the room is a smart TV with Netflix and YouTube. The lakeview is amazing! The host let us use their kayak for free 🤭

Good location and very well equipped room. It was great to catch up on our washing and also have dinner in with a full kitchen too. It makes for an economical night when you can cook your own meals. Obviously an older motel but clean, comfortable and all around a great spot.
Well located. The rooms were immaculate and well equipped, very comfortable and spacious. The hosts were amazing and went above and beyond when I was unable to access my Air bnb and needed to stay over the weekend. They were extremely helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. I would absolutely recommend this motel to anyone looking for a great, well-priced place to stay where you are made to feel very welcome.
