We were very happy with our room! Newly renovated and the bed was super comfortable. Much better than we were expecting to find in a small town like Viking. Outside looked a bit dated but interior was all newly renovated and looked great! Also we showed up around 11:30pm and they were very accommodating.

The property was clean, bright, modern, and was one of the best hotels of its class I have stayed in. The service was 6 out of 5 stars. The breakfast was a great value add-on. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough.

Great price, location easy access because it is a motel. Staff are friendly and personable. The outside is a bit dated but the accommodations are great!
Room was clean, AC worked great, staff was friendly and helpful. a bit of an older motel but that was expected.
we had spent over a week driving with 2 Yorkies from coastal BC to Ontario cottage country and back. we had stayed in 5 different hotels/motels who accepted pets. the Kanata was the most comfortable best appointed and their staff were wonderful! their breakfast was also the best!

Friendly, local staff who were very kind, knowledgable and enjoyable to engage with. The motel is clean, well built, well maintained. You can tell that it isn't new, but it is perfectly functional and looks like it was higher class when it was new. My normal room had a stove and fridge as well as a fireplace.
The location, room, and comfort were great. But, the restaurant beside the hotel was absolutely marvelous!! We had a wonderful meal, and a humorous, friendly, and entertaining server. We recommend this motel to everyone!

Voyageur Motel was hard to find because my sat nav directed me wrongly. It's on the main road and outside the city. It's well priced, and I chose the location for this reason as accommodation in Jasper is excessively costly. Rocky Mountain House is perhaps wrongly named because it's far from the mountains. The room had aircon, which was nice as it was hot weather. Free parking is outside the room.
