The motel was chosen for it's very close location to the airport with a free shuttle that was working even at 4 am. The staff were all very friendly and helpful; they even had a to-go bag ready for us since we were not going to get the breakfast. We already have another reservation to stay here when we return from our trip.

Great downtown location, 50's motel vibe, unexpectedly comfortable pillow topped bed, unexpectedly quiet room especially considering proximity of railroad crossing and frequency of trains, excellent sound insulation between floors and between rooms.Good shower. Good coffee in breakfast room.

Toilet seat was large (not those puny seats at other motels!)

The wall air conditioner did not work and the room was really stuffy. The windows were operational, but there were homeless campers parked just outside the window so didn’t feel comfortable leaving the window open. When we checked in, the entire wing of the motel smelled of marijuana.

This is my favorite hotel ever. Went on a road trip and this was our destination. We stayed in cheap motels along the way to afford one night here and it was totally worth it. You won’t find anywhere else like it, especially if you love architecture and history. Be sure to watch the video of the history on channel 64 - fascinating and makes you appreciate it all the more. We were even treated to a performance by a concert pianist in the lobby.

It is really appreciated how you always welcome our two small dogs. I've talked with quite a few people that book expressly with motel 6, because you welcome all of us, pet lovers. Thank you
