This was the absolute worse hotel I’ve ever stayed in 60 years! I’m hoping I can post pictures because the cockroaches were enough to keep me on my feet, out of the bed, had it not been storming I would have been out of there straight away. How they had the rating they did must be through family, friends and/or falsified….possible “tenants”? I didn’t arrive until very late, checked out shortly after, the gal asked why did I not call, she would have given me a different room, I said I saw people coming and going as soon as I arrived, even in the storm, so I assumed all rooms were the same, she told me they “lived there” I personally don’t think this place should be open at all AND the health department needs to close them down.
Stay at your own risk, my 1.5 hours were horrendous and I sure was hoping for an 8 hour sleep, had it not been storming, I wouldn’t have stayed that long.
Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
This motel was exceptional in every way.

The location was a little off of my beaten path but well worth the extra travel distance! This was a nostalgia trip for me with a mom 'n' pop style motel that absolutely delivered on the downhome comfort standards I was searching for. The major bonus for me was the Pool and that it was open well before Memorial Day <3 I used it thoroughly
