Looking for a motel?
Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.

The motel is super unique and has beautiful surrounding. It was cozy and comfortable and you can’t beat the view with a morning cup of coffee.

The rooms were filthy, sheets were stained, shower curtain had mold on it, the blinds were broken and falling apart, the floor was filthy. The ONLY nice thing about the motel was its location

Furniture was sub standard. Sofa was very stained and dirty, The chair for the kitchen table broke. The price we paid for the room was $179.00 + tax. A Motel 6 would be a upgrade.

Was a good place to spend the night. Motel has history, that was interesting. Fairly quiet even though it was next to the freeway. Bathroom county had plenty of room. Shower water pressure was excellent.

This is a run down Bates Motel. The shower had black mold. The room was absolutely disgusting. I actually slept in my car for fear of bed bugs. I would never stay here again. Please get it updated…

Nothing went well. It was a horrible motel and the owner was a real jerk. His main helper was very nice and eventually helped us out.

The motel buildings in chalets are set on 16 acres that are wooded with huge large trees and a small creek running through it. Very rustic and restful. There is also a nice full-service restaurant available. It is away from town but just a short 12 minute walk to town and I like having that kind of separation. Quiet location and very good fan and air and cooling system in the room also I love having a microwave and refrigerator in the room. I did sleep very well with the fan running and it was quiet. Price is very reasonable.

Pros: beautiful property, very spacious and well appointed room (#8). The location is super close to Scott’s Flats, WiFi worked well enough to work remotely (Google docs, etc). Breakfast was quiche one day and pancakes and bacon the next. I appreciated the mini fridge and microwave in the room!
