A flat-screen TV with cable channels is provided in each room at Red Roof Inn Lafayette. Private bathrooms come with a hairdryer and toiletries. Some rooms are equipped with a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker.

There was no breakfast as advertised. Only good thing was location & free Wi-Fi. Bed was alright. Shower was ok. The staff barely cleans with the room service-literal makes beds and takes out trash. There was literally trash behind the trash can from people before that they never got and an open pack on napkins. There’s no sign for no cleaning either.

    Discovery Inn is a great option if you are looking for a no-frills budget motel. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they keep the rooms very clean. Unlike some other budget places I’ve stayed, the other guests were quiet and respectful. Rooms are simple but comfortable, and have good wi-fi.

    Nice value and all expected amenities (mini fridge, hot water, free parking), clean and well-maintained facilities. Staff gave my room to somebody else but worked to fix the problem.

    4 days after I made reservation I needed to cancel for medical reasons. I contacted motel 19 days before my March 1 reservation requesting waiver of 100% cancellation penalty. No response. Called 3 times 3 times manager “unavailable” 3 times. Never a call back. I have stayed in Best Westerns at least 14 times last 3 years. They get not one more nickel.
