Continental breakfast and I don’t eat that kind of food. But the staff was beyond everything. Always checking in on us every time they saw us outside. The location and view was spectacular. Walking distance to so much!

The Chalet was built in 1937 and is so very quaint. We loved the town, and the Chalet was in walking distance to main street. The room and bathroom were a little small, it was a double bed, but the hospitality totally made up for it. Talked to the hostess at the desk who gave me great recommendations for the following day and even outlined it on a map. We would've have missed the best parts if we had not talked to her. Loved Custer - an old, western type town with shops, restaurants and saloons. Highly recommend Buglin' Bull for the buffalo sausage stuffed mushrooms - delicious.

It’s a motel not hotel. Photos are deceptive. Had I not booked ahead I would not have even stopped there

It was our second visit here but this time we got a room in the motel and not a cabin. The motel is located a short drive away from the main building but in my opinion is much better in terms of room size and quality.

For this kind of motel, it is excellent, in service, cleanness, and friendly staff. We did not use the swimming pool ( too cold outside ). The breakfast changes main menu every day which is very rare ( even 5 star hotels stick to their menu all the way) and the surrounding area is safe and quiet.
