    The bed was very comfortable, and the bedding was really plush. The floor was vinyl plank, something that other motel/hotels should consider in lieu of carpeting in my opinion. The staff was friendly and helpful.

    I like the idea of the vintage but updated motel-type experience and they have a great start. The room was nice size but smelled a bit of old socks. The old counter and bathroom facet was very cool. Overall, it could just use some upkeep and maintenance. The old dresser was also a very nice piece. The linens and pillow were great! The mattress was old spring style which is fine but a bit worn. The staff was pleasant.

    The best thing about this place is the garden. But the room was clean and better-equipped than most chain motels, and the breakfast was very nice. And the people are lovely. And the price is right.

    Don’t let the outside look of properly dampen your opinion. The inside was clean and rooms have been updated. it’s an older (holiday Inn motel. with outside room entrance). the outside is in need of some brightening and freshening, but they have the rooms looking clean, fresh and updated. People were very nice & welcoming. sleepers bar a good place to have a drink .

    We enjoyed the fact that the motel was not cookie cutter. The closeness to the Cascade Park was nice for our morning runs. It was nice to have breakfast with real cutlery and china. The staff is very friendly. The motel appears to be undergoing more updates.
