THE HOT SPRING POOLS!! They were the attraction for us as we wanted a good soak in spring water, NOT geo thermal water. They are authentic genuine spring pools, not fancy pants! There are 3 private pools of ranging heat. Very old school which we loved.

A comfortable, well equipped motel unit, well located if you're travelling up or down the island. We appreciated the heat pump being turned on before our arrival on a bleak winter day.
Motel has had a very recent revamp and is fresh, modern, clean and spotless inside, nicely decorated too. It seems like they're still in the process of renovating this place, so I'm looking forward to more beautification in the future.
The bathroom was great, really modern and nice. And it was awesome to have a full kitchen.
The best part was the thermal pools!! How amazing to have unlimited use of a private thermal pool (there's 4 to choose from), 24/7!

The Delux apartment was spacious and clean.The bed was comfortable with warm coverings and electric blankets if needed.The heat pump worked well.Very good kitchen facilities.The shower had good pressure and plentifull hot water.The motel is in walking distance to Turangi shopping centre and a cafe and takeaway shop is over the road.
We were in a newly renovated Delux Apartment which was spacious,clean and comfortable.The beds were comfortable and warm.All facilities worked well and the heat pump heated the room well on the very cold night.The motel is within walking distance to shopping centre and a cafe across the road.Staff at this motel are always accomodating and pleasant.
