It was a lovely accommodation, very neat and tidy with plenty of space. The location was perfect as it was walking distance to the shops and beach.

We stayed in the King deluxe suite..Spa pool was great, however the comfort wasnt so pleasant, it was quite run down.. Friendly and helpful staff.. Wifi was terrible..kept dropping Very spacious but no TV as shown in pictures in the lounge. Overall spa pool was the best feature of our stay.

The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
The close proximity to the beach and shopping centre. Private secure parking. Having muffins, cereal and orange juice provided was a nice touch. Very reasonably priced compared to other motel prices.
The position was perfect right across from the beautiful beach. The owners were so nice and very helpful and the staff were great. Nothing was a problem. The motel was right up the street from all the restaurants and shopping.
Everything. Good breakfast provided. Lovely grounds. Quietness. Peacefulness. Excellent, comfortable beds. Easy and free parking. There is nothing not to like about this property or the hosts who own/manage it. I have stayed there several times before and will certainly stay there again.
An older style motel but it had everything you would need and was clean and tidy. We only stayed one night, the bed was comfortable, the water was hot in the shower and it was right on the beach front so very quiet. A short drive to the main street. Lovely people in reception, very welcoming.

Good step up from motel/hotel
We wanted a quick getaway on a Friday night and didn't want to battle traffic. We live on the North Shore so booked a night at the Orewa Motor Lodge. The booking experience was quick and easy and the access instructions were clear. We were within easy walking distance to bars and restaurants and had an enjoyable evening without worrying about driving. The room was small but clean and well equipped and the bed was comfortable.
