    Good motel. Spacious room. Supermarket and Pub are next door. Very short drive to the Moeraki Boulders. Have a look at the tide timetable provided in the room.

    Fab home, good size, lovely big kitchen, great big deck outside and a fully fenced section for our little dog to run & play outside. Jo is a wonderful host who provided us with high & low tides so we could walk along the beach to Moeraki Boulders. A great base to stay and explore the area. Tavern across the road & well stocked supermarket next door to motel. Highly recommend. Will definitely stay again. Thanks so much for our time in Hampden.

    The motel is well-placed for the Moeraki Boulders which was the purpose of my visit. The room was warm and well equipped with a kitchenette including a stove and microwave, and located next door to a supermarket which is open until late. The room consisted of a lounge/dining area and a separate bedroom and bathroom. If you don't like cooking there is a hotel with a bistro located opposite.

    Very clean little motel with an extremely helpful owner . Well situated in a quiet position off the main highway for visiting Moeraki boulders and Shag point seal colony. Parking outside each unit. Good local supermarket next door, pub across one road and good fish and chip shop and cafe across the other one all easy walking.
