The staff was helpful and allocated us a nice room on the top floor, but it had a skylight letting in too much light so we were quickly changed to the same style room on the floor below. Having the 2 queen beds was great for really being able to sprawl in bed. The beds were comfortable and the view from the room over downtown Victoria was lovely. It was close to everything and there was free parking including undercover in the building's garage. The breakfast was excellent and there was plenty of choice.

Great location very close to downtown Victoria. The room was nice with a view on the BC parliament building. The staff was also very nice. We really enjoyed our stay here Free parking

A beautiful Edwardian home in an exclusive and quiet residential area adjacent to Government House. Our Nottingham Suite was so roomy as was the bathroom with huge sunken spa bath. The owner Linda could not have been more agreeable and helpful with any request. The breakfast was amazing, with every choice possible. Excellent on site free parking.

I travel the world as a working musician. I love older motels. This is one of the premier finds of my 50 years on the road....spacious rooms, very clean, service-minded, polite staff, great residential location yet very near downtown..and a great rate.
