Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
It was a very standard motel, clean, and friendly staff. The location was right beside the ferry and a short walk into town and to the forested trails. Despite being right on the main road by the ferry, it was quiet inside and we all slept well.
The major advantage of this motel-like accommodation is its good location and ample parking. The room is simply furnished and is certainly adequate for one or two nights if you don’t have high expectations. But the price was very high during high season. Everything was clean, and the management was very friendly. The town itself is lovely and had a lot to offer. Even for more then one or two days.

Clean room with balcony looking into the town, you could even see a little bit of the water. Free Parking is on the property. Everything is very close in Tadoussac, restaurants are in walking distance and a delicious bakery is right across the street
Walking distance to everything in Tadoussac. We had a large room with a little table and chairs and a desk so there was ample space. Appreciated the coffee maker and mini fridge in the room, and there was a microwave down the hall. At this time of the year, many of the restaurants are closed but there is a well stocked grocery store in town. After a day outside, there may have been traffic outside the motel but it was not enough to wake us (beds were very comfy).
Nice motel on the road. Town center is at a couple of kilometres away and that's nice. There was a coffee machine and everything was clean and nice, as expected.
