The price is cheaper and the cottage is huge for a family of 3 or more. The view is crazy beautiful, The location is just right if you're not too delicate to the distance from the village, not too far and not too close, that you have your own privacy with your family staying. You can compare this place to Glamping, you have a full bath, a full kitchen, 3 beds, 2 rooms ( 1 room has 2 beds, and 1 room with 1 bed). Unlike any other rentals in the village, this one has an option of bonfire at night, in front of the balcony of the cottage. Which we did every night of our stay, (you can grill and make smoores with the kids) , You also have a FREE parking (huge parking lot infront and side of the cottage), which I don't have a problem parking my F150. A FREE WIFI ( speed is not too bad, for once in a while use. I'm not there for internet use so I can say it's just exact speed for what I need).
The owner ( Madeleine) is friendly, the service is good. In general the rooms are clean, the bathroom is clean. It was a great stay in this place, my family enjoyed the 3 nights stay. I'f you have kids and want them to enjoy the visit in Perce, I highly recommend Motel Seal Rock as your temporary home.

The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
Everything was good. The location of the motel has a beautiful view and they allow dogs. Our dog was able to run around the place since it’s very spacious.
We booked late so we had few choices. This motel is perfectly fine--slightly out of center of town. Room clean and quiet. The walk to town and restaurants is perfectly doable if it isn't pouring rain (as it was for us one evening).
