The room was excellent, very clean and with everything one might need. We followed one of the suggestions of the guide in the room about dinner, so we found a pub within walking distance that was very good (not a bad thing after a whole day spent hiking and exploring).

The location of this motel is ideal. You're no more than 5 minutes from everything you need. A quick and easy drive from the ferry terminal, great beaches, the downtown core, easy access to shops, and restaurants. But, the best part of this stay was the staff. I have honestly never met friendlier and more welcoming staff at a hotel. They couldn't do enough for you and make sure our stay was to our needs.

We travelled with a team for BC High School Track & Field Provincials. The staff was fantastic, helpful and interested in how we were doing. Good coffee (fresh and strong). Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Lots of plugs for chargers.

This is a classic style motel. Its beauty is it’s a short walk to the Nanaimo ferry to Vancouver and it’s clean. I found the bed very comfortable, as good as more expensive hotels. Staff is excellent, very friendly. I parked my Motorcycle out front of my room and it was safe all night. Just like the picture shows.
