Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
The convenience of having a restaurant right next door was great after a long day of travel... no need to get in the car looking for good food. There was a gas station right next door that was also a convenience store with everything in it was another bonus. The motel was also just off the highway which was nice and we were not disturbed by vehicles going by as we thought it might be.
Location was close to the highway. Advise stopping in Levis, park at the ferry and take the ferry to Quebec City
for a great French meal. Then ferry back and onward to the motel. Perfect location for an early start when driving west. Breakfast is not included.
There was no breakfast, likely due to COVID. We were supplied with bottles of water. The service was exceptional, our host friendly and helpful. The room was quite small but adequate for our one night stay. Coffee and tea were not supplied but a short walk from the motel there was an Ultramar Express where we could get anything we needed.
The owner of the motel was super friendly and gave us tips for our further journey. One had the feeling that he loves being a host. We felt welcome straight away.
