Looking for a motel?
Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.

we had spent over a week driving with 2 Yorkies from coastal BC to Ontario cottage country and back. we had stayed in 5 different hotels/motels who accepted pets. the Kanata was the most comfortable best appointed and their staff were wonderful! their breakfast was also the best!

Despite the motel being part of a bar, and we were there on a Saturday night, it was quiet. Jasper is extraordinarily expensive. Hinton is much cheaper and is only 70k north east of Jasper.

Check in was smooth and room was more than adequate for our short stay overnight. A little pricey for a for an older motel compared to other places we stayed across Canada. I’m guessing pricing would be based on location being close to Jasper.

The staff was uber friendly and genuinely seemed concerned with your satisfaction, all while being very friendly with making you feel welcome and they're appreciative that you chose their Motel. Property was clean and tidy. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud.

It is what it is...a clone motel on the highway. The room, bed, facilities all standard for this type. Quite a bit of noise from hwy16. It's priced at the level it should be.

Good location of the hotel, quick check-in, free parking. The room is spacious and very clean, a comfortable wide bed, clean towels and bedding. Good Wi-Fi, there is a refrigerator, hairdryer, coffee. There is a gym in the hotel. Also, in the morning at the reception, you can take ready-made coffee or tea in unlimited quantities, the coffee is very tasty! Friendly staff! Good price for the room compared to other hotels in this city.

It was great to have a kitchen after being on the road for a while. Krishna, the manager, was very helpful in solving a booking issue so really appreciated her.

I honestly could not reconcile our experience with the hotel reviews. I could not fault it in terms of cleanliness, comfort and facilities. For the money we paid it was perfect, one of the best roadside motels weve stayed at in the last month of our travels.

Exceptionally clean room. The bathroom was the cleanest I have ever seen in a hotel/ motel over the years. Bed was very comfortable. I booked there because of reviews on cleanliness and was not disappointed.
