Looking for a motel?

Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.

A very comfortable and cozy place to stay, right in the middle of Thredbo village. The room was very clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable. I loved the fireplace in the sunken lounge, common area....very cozy. Free parking was also a big bonus.

Comfy chalet at the base of the mountain, short walk to everything in the village square. Level entry and free parking were an absolute godsend! We spent NYE here, and the place was equipped with everything we needed - even emergency snacks. The beds were comfy and the view of the mountain was exceptional.

I loved this apartment. On two floors it made a nice living area with the staircase going to the bedroom. The little touches like a coffee machine with pods was very welcome. The garage parking for my motorcycle was a nice bonus. Very helpful reception with ideas on what to do in the area was much appreciated, too. The washing machine and dryer in the apartment were a nice extra, too and much needed after more than a week on the road.

Cozy hotel, with fire place and life music in the evening. Free parking at hotel, walking distance to chair lift and gondola. Room confy, shower was strong. Matras a bit too too soft for my back. Hot standard AUS Brackfast - I would have loved cut up fruit and some greens, salad. Board, skii, boots lockers Satisfied with my stay and will be back

Great location. No parking but free parking available about 800m down the road. Amazing view from the common area of the mountain. Common areas were lovely and the ensuite room was exactly as pictured. Clean and cosy. Really family friendly with all ages. Lots of kids travelling with their grandparents as well as the usual YHA crowd.

The room was excellent - comfortable, very clean and with a stunning mountain view, the location was perfect - so close to the main square/shops, and there was tons of free parking. We absolutely loved our stay!

Great location and fabulous staff - really easy check-in; reminded me of a country pub where everything is on an honour system! Rooms were clean and comfortable and the restaurant had a decent menu and choice of beers. Great location with free parking literally across the road.
