Location was a little out of the centre of town, but it was quite and comfortable. The motel appeared to be very populator, with a full carpark. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot, which is always welcome. Added bonus was a continental breakfast, which offered the standard spread. Housekeeping staff and restaurant staff were friendly and welcoming.

Clean well-appointed rooms at a good price and a very good continental breakfast. The motel is in a great location, near the town centre and just across the road from the art gallery and the port of sale historic area. Nearby too is Lake Guthridge, which provides the location of a pleasant walk to stretch the legs

I absolutely loved my stay. I stopped there overnight for work and could not fault it. Craig was friendly and helpful, the room was fitted out beautifully and the bed was super comfy. I was tired from driving so was delighted to be able to order dinner from the local pub and have it delivered to my room. Breakfast was delicious and delivered through the little hatch which brought back memories of staying in motels when I was young! I could not recommend the Aspen and Apartments more highly.

Very convenient location for accessing the Port of Sale, and the gallery. The Spanish heritage of the Matador makes it more interesting than typical Australian motels. The breakfast was excellent.

Comfortable beds, modernised bathroom, helpful staff, WiFi worked well. I would definitely book this place again for an overnight stop on the road. It was a bargain and the bed was very comfortable. They have modernised the things that needed changing. the bathroom has clearly been refitted, there was a modem in the room, the electric sockets were all new, electrical appliances looked new. Walls plastered so it felt cosier than your average brick-walled motel and no gap under the door either 😁.
