It's an old place but is very well maintained and supremely clean which was very impressive. Even include a litre of milk and biscuits which you don't normally get.

Location, location, location - 6 Degrees is an easy walk from the coach terminal and is near cafes and other bars. We had motel room number 10 for 3 nights, which was the furthest from the music and was quiet. The room was spacious, had an ensuite, very hot water, a couch and a table with 2 chairs. We visited in July school holidays for the Folk & Shanty Festival.
Let’s start with the good stuff! In an excellent location in the heart of Albany, near shops, cafes , waterfront etc. My room had water views! My room was ok.Free parking , fairly secure. The showers were hot and powerful. The bathrooms ( toilets and showers ) were clean.
I have stayed Dog Rock Motel many times over the years. The thing I like about it now is that it has been renovated. I loved the new look and updated kitchen and room service. The food was amazing.
The room was a very good size and spotlessly clean. Breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choices.
We also ate dinner in the restaurant which was excellent. We can only recommend this motel for a stay in Albany.
Sensational location. Being on the harbour provided stunning views. Easy to walk to shops, entertainment. Easy, free parking although outdoors. Very comfy beds. New hotel that delivers.
We booked in for an extra night because we enjoyed our stay so much. It is our go-to motel whenever we travel to Albany. All staff are very welcoming and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, with free parking at our front door. The onsite award winning restaurant serves a variety of delicious fresh food, and the motel offers a complimentary continental breakfast, a bonus.
