Mercure Albi Bastides is set in a former watermill dating back to 1770. It offers cosy and modern accommodation in a building that has retained all of its original charm.
The view from our corner room was just fantastic, probably the best in Albi. Their parking lot was in front of the hotel and even had a bit of shadowy spot.

Surely the nicest, most attentive and helpful hosts in Arles - who will give you the best tips according to your own preferences and wishes. Merci Emmanuelle et Georges ! The studio was lovely and spatious, not very bright but with direct access to a nice little courtyard. Very comfortable and you'll find everything you need to cook something, make coffee or tea, etc.
Good location, a minute walk to the sea, the tram line stops in front and takes you to the center and the airport - both are 20 min from the hotel. Lovely bakery across the street. We were accommodated according to the request in a sea view room, which the reception presented that we were lucky because there was only one room left, that is as they did not take the request seriously. We asked for a second duvet and they were quick to provide it. Clean room.
Good property, value for money. In the apartment there is everything needed. Beds are good. Quite area. Reception works at appointed hours, so everything was according to expectation.
It was not the first time we were guests of the Mercure hotel chain. It is one of the best hotels in France. The quality-price ratio is excellent. Clean, large and spacious rooms, comfortable beds and fabulous breakfast. As for the staff, only good. Very kind and friendly.
We stayed for one night with our 2 large dogs. We were all made to feel very welcome. As with other Mercure hotels, the dogs were allowed into the bar area. The room was spacious and well equipped. A good range of food at the breakfast buffet. The receptionist on arrival was lovely and very helpful.
I found this hotel to be very pleasant, welcoming and comfortable, contrary to some "horror story" reviews floating around from disgruntled guests. The rooms are standard Mercure/Accor hotel style, WiFi was fast, staff good. Very quiet at night - a must for a sensitive sleeper like me! Breakfast particularly nice buffet & enjoyed the little outdoor area for dining. Unbeatable location for palais des papes and the Pont d'Avignon.
We have always had good experiences with Mercure and Accor but Figeac Viguier du Roy was exceptional. The property has such an interesting history. We were lucky enough to be given a tour. The room, the facilities, the restaurant, the staff, all were superb.
Never made it to the Hotel as the road construction around the Bordeaux Airport made it virtually impossible to drive to this hotel. I ultimately stayed at the Mercure Hotel which was located conveniently located. This should have been disclosed.
as part of Accor Hotels a Mercure is a Mercure - no surprises :) we had a pleasant city trip in Marseille and the hotel is close to the center and the vieux port
