Peak District is 16 km away where guests can engage in activities such as water sports, swimming, riding, bird watching and rock climbing. Lovely cottage at Waterhouses, in a good position for visiting the peak district. Will come back in Summer for cycling and hiking. The cottage is well equipped with a separate kitchen. Very friendly hosts who gave us the keys in person despite our late arrival. Thank you for the nice stay.

Each modern apartment features free WiFi, a fitted kitchen with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, toaster, microwave and Tassimo coffee machine. It also includes a dining area, private bedroom(s), flat screen TV’s, lounge, private bathrooms, and sofa beds for additional guests. Towels and bed linen are provided. The property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay including washing up liquid! It was very clean and modern. Tea, coffee and auger were also provided. The guidebook was very helpful for appliances in the app and the surrounding areas. The location is fantastic, central to everything and a stone’s throw to the local park. Note to other people staying - you can park around the edges of the Market Place all day without having to pay and display. The bike shop owner told us this the day we were leaving. I would definitely stay here again.

There are private bathrooms with bathrobes and fresh towels in every cottage. Free private parking is available. Complimentary wine, bottled water, tea and coffee are provided. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Woodleighton Cottages. From the welcome pack which greeted us on our arrival to the checking in from Rachel over the duration of our stay to see if everything was okay or whether we needed anything or help with anything. It was truly a 1st Class service and most definitely a 5 star accommodation. The Cottages are a short distance to the race course or to the town centre. We will definitely be returning and will be recommending Woodleighton to our family and friends .

The bedrooms are decorated in pastel colours and have fresh flowers from the garden. Guests also get a flat-screen TV, tea/coffee making facilities and a refrigerator with fresh milk, water and fruit juice. The host (John) is amazing person and helpful. He made a delicious breakfast.
