This 4-star bed and breakfast offers a housekeeping service and a shared lounge. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. This farmhouse is charming and comfortable with a feeling of authentic English history to it. The owners are lovely people and breakfast was perfect, Nice, well equiped room and bathroom. I really enjoyed my stay. I personally loved the very soft bed, but some would find it too soft.

At the inn, the rooms are fitted with a desk and a TV. The private bathroom is fitted with a hair dryer. The Cornish Arms is a real treasure! This is a traditional fine dining pub-hotel combination, with both components fulfilling the highest standards. The rooms are beautifully appointed and very quiet (we couldn't heat the pub at all); ours had a hedgehog theme. Spent a peaceful and relaxing night in the very comfy bed. All the amenities are brand-new but well selected to reflect the historical character; nice decoration details. Check-in was smooth at the pub bar doubling as reception. Without reservation, we got a table in the restaurant downstairs, and the food was simply stunning, with local specialties reinterpreted by a splendid chef. The hotel is in the middle of the market town of Tavistock (with parking in back), just minutes away from a beautiful mountain view of Dartmoor (check out the sunset). Picked up lots of souvenirs in the local deli (around the corner) and farmers' market, all within walking distance.

Our host was very welcoming, there was delicious home made cake on arrival, we had a lovely large bedroom which was super comfortable and a superb breakfast in the morning, great location, beautifully clean, thoroughly recommend
