Latacunga
Set in Latacunga, 49 km from Metropolitano del Sur Park, Rumipaxi Lodge offers accommodation with a garden and free private parking. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a tour desk and free WiFi throughout the property. The people were wonderful and it's a lovely place. We got a lot of useful information on hikes as well as the living of people there. They prepared a very tasty dinner for us and the breakfast is very rich and tasty. We would highly recommend this place.
Hacienda Santa Ana
Featuring a garden overlooking the Pasochoa Volcano, Hacienda Santa Ana is set in a charming house combining modern and antique design. It is located 7 km from Cotopaxi National Park. WiFi is available in public areas. Excellent Property. We stayed for 2 nights two adults and two kids and we all had a great time. The service was amazing, the breakfast delicious, and the Hacienda was simply perfect! The kids loved feeding the Alpacas and the horse back riding as well. Thank you!

Wow! Showing up here after traveling around and staying in more budget accommodations felt like a luxury! King size bed, fireplace in the bedroom, complimentary ponchos and a designer bathroom/shower! Gorgeous architecture and landscaping with many little walks around the property to view the mountains.
Aracely is an excellent host. She went above and beyond for our group of 18. She tried to place us together. She helped with our laundry even though this was not a service she offered. Most of our group could not consume meat in Ecuador as it was not halal, she even called around to get a live chicken for us! She had the most adorable dogs as well.
Everything was perfect. It was in the most beautiful location. Completely isolated and surrounded by nature. The staff were superb and so helpful, the food was incredible. I couldn’t recommend highly enough!
The setting is outstanding and the buildings and grounds are quite pretty and well maintained in general (we didn't use the spa, though, so can't comment on that). We've read bad reviews about food but we thought dinner was good and reasonably priced, and breakfast was also OK (not as good as dinner). If you're up for a 3 to 4h walk, ask about their 12k loop from the hotel: it's an awesome hike around farmland and the views are incredible, highly recommended!
It is a very cozy place with outstanding views. Stuff is very helpful and attentive. Jesica and Jose are awesome. The chef served the best maduro entree, and they have a nice selection of Ecuadorian wine, which is very cool, because I wanted to try it, but couldn’t find it anywhere.
Araceli, the owner, is superb. Excellent kind hospitality. Rooms are fairly basic but have everything you need including warm blankets. There is hot water for the shower. Araceli prepares breakfast and dinner for you if you want it - she is so kind. I would highly recommend this place if you want to spend a few day exploring the area of Cotopaxi. It is only a 5 minute walk from the highway where there are buses every 5 minutes going towards Cotopaxi
Superb location, brilliant views of the surrounding valleys and volcanoes, and very close to Cotopaxi National Park. Great place generally: made to feel very much at home with excellent food, friendly helpful staff, horse-riding for all skill levels - beautiful horses.
