the breakfast was very special and the setting calm , peaceful and pretty. the menu was unusual and very good. The staff were well trained. We appreciated the fact that they made a dinner booking at a nearby restaurant.

From the moment we stepped into the property and i saw the Freda Khalo pics on the wall, it was clear that this property is going to be balm to all soul, emotion and all senses. Superbly decorated, superior linen, the closest to perfection in every respect. Our stay at this house, set a very high standard for all future s/catering selection.
Breakfast was 5-star! We did not expect such an exceptional offering. Tracey's fruit, home-made breads, cake were particularly outstanding. All served round the pool in style!
Abundance - This property is a dream come true. Super Luxury in the Karoo. Absolutely everything you could want from a 5 star establishment with the added extra of self catering. The excellence of everything, and more of it. The art, the comfy bedding, the plush towels. There is no TV, so you can take in the awesomeness of relaxation. Thank you for the abundance of wood and firelighters and charcoal. Will definitely come back here.
Mirtehof was close enough to town to be able to walk into town on a pre-breakfast walk. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens & cooling down in the splash pool. Loved the chickens and donkeys. Breakfast was superb.
Amazing stay in the most beautiful oasis in the Karoo. A gardeners dream with luxury at every turn. Stunning setting with the most gorgeous views. Luxurious comfort in beautiful rooms with thoughtful touches everywhere. Silky white linen to die for and plush gowns to cocoon in. Early coffee in blissful hanging chairs or sundowners at the luxe pool house. Breakfast a whole other experience with stunning table decor and gorgeous food. Absolutely loved it.
What a gem we received a warm welcome and were shown around the property which is just beautiful. Orchards, chickens, lovely corners of tranquility within the garden, an idyllic place to unwind. The attention to detail of the owners and staff is outstanding. Breakfast was a feast with food to awaken your taste buds. The rooms had every extra you could wish for.
What a gem in Prince Albert! The house is just beautiful and so is the pool area and the garden!
André and Lisa did a perfect job in renovation and decoration of the Sanctuary.
The rooms are cosy, the beds comfy and the Nespresso machine in the rooms a non-expected luxury.
The chef of the 5star breakfasts is Lisa and she does a fantastic job! André is the barrista and spoils people with heavenly Cappuccini and other kinds of coffee in the morning.
Very highly recommended place to stay in charming Prince Albert
This property is simply magnificent and unbeatable. The renovation done on this property is a masterpiece in chic, practical, stylish and luxury living, it is simply the best in town. Could have moved in permanently as it was so perfect.
