The location a short walk across the bridge from the heritage area, and right on the waterside, is superb. Plus the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

Loved the location, staff was extremely friendly, and the room was absolutely spotless. Breakfast was also fresh and tasty! The owner even came out to say hello! Publix is literally a two minute walk away, with the beach being maybe ten minutes. Budget price, luxury feel!
Although maybe not the newest and most luxurious hotel you’re going to stay at, it was a really good value and a good location, clean, comfortable and a pretty decent breakfast with friendly service. It was a really convenient location to walk to all the local attractions and sites that make this area so interesting.
The Motel, is clean, comfortable and close to food, drink and sights of St Augustine. The owner was very helpful and even provided us with bottled water upon check in and check out. Just realize you are staying in a smallish, local motel and not a luxury suite at the Hilton.
I didn’t expect 5 star luxury for the price we paid , but the staff gave 5 star service , they were excellent , reception, breakfast staff, cleaners and shuttle drivers , all were brilliant, breakfast good , rooms very clean , pool deck clean, location is ideal and easy to find . Valano beach nearby.
An outstanding historic hotel, perfectly located in the heart of St. Augustine. Staff are friendly, courteous, and eager to assist, while the room was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Breakfast in the morning was superb, with a good choice of dishes and top-quality food.
