Located at a 45-minute flight from Male’ and followed by a 20-minute boat ride to the island, the resort offers studios and villas with a private terrace and private pool. They offer endless tropical views.

What is there not to like about Kandima? The staff, in particular Sarah, Anoof, and Azeez were all amazing! They went above and beyond to make us happy and comfortable during our anniversary trip! We were greeted right from entry at the jetty, and check in was smooth sailing, despite some hiccups with the arrangement of the seaplane, which was later addressed by their management, and 'corrected' by ensuring that we did not have the same issue when flying out of the island. Now to our actual stay.. The room was ALWAYS clean, the staff waited for us to leave, and would go in and make sure it's comfortable and clean for us everytime we got back to the villa. The villa itself was well designed with an amazing bed. The view from the water villa was *chef's kiss*. The water around us was gorgeous, the wind was refreshing, and the sun wash everything with a beautiful glow too! Jump off the deck (or slowly walk off the steps), into the beautiful blue and enjoy a nice swin or snorkel to see local wildlife swimming around. The food options were great too! Plenty of different choices, and a good array of choices for the buffet as well. It's very important to have good food when you're marooned on an island, and Kandima did not disappoint! There was also plenty to do, since they had shops, different pools, live band performances, and my favourite part: the sea sports center. Other than the rain, this place was awesome :)

From our arrival in Male to our trip by seaplane to the site and our welcome at the resort, everything went very smoothly and staff were very kind and helpful. The island is beautiful and the facilities five star quality. All the food we had across various restaurants was excellent, the complimentary snorkeling trips were fantastic to the house reef and our other paid trips (scuba) were well organized and good value. The beach and general scenery was beautiful.

The place is simply a paradise - crystal clear water, white sand, beautiful sunsets and great delicious food. Staff and facilities are outstanding in everything. Tried gym, snorkeling, turtle quest, dolphin quest, parasailing, spa, art studio and everything was fun. The sky room is clean, modern, and has great view over the ocean.

Fantastic establishment, a 5-star hotel in its own right. The staff made us feel like princesses, everyone was always very friendly and helpful. A special thank you goes to Paula and her colleague, in the aquaholics staff, for being patient and keeping us entertained while diving. The buffet at breakfast and dinner was really delicious as well as all the food prepared by the bars during the lunches. Thank you Kandima, everything was great!
