We came here to celebrate our honeymoon! The hosts were amazing Munil and his wife are wonderful and Lahori the driver for a day too. The food cooked by them was authentic and tasty. Rooms were so clean and the pool and added bonus. Munil organised so many trips for us - Dambulla Caves, Pidurangala Rock, Minnierya Safari, spa massage. He took us all over in his tuk tuk too. It was my husbands birthday and they arranged a cake for him and balloons in the bedroom!

The best hotel during my trip to Sri Lanka, everything about is way above other hotels in a similar price range. The staff was excellent, helpful and provided great service, even helped us catch a gecko that managed to get into the room. The surroundings are stunning and you can even see some elephants while having breakfast. We had dinner and breakfast twice at the hotel and both times they were really good, one of the best restaurants during our stay in Sri Lanka.

The room was very spacious, clean, beautiful and comfortable. You have a great view on Sigiriya from the room. The staff is exceptional and the food is amazing. It is an ideal location to visit Sigiriya, go for a safari at Minneriya and even visit Polonnaruwa.

Outstanding hotel. Beautiful mini villas on stilts in the forest. Large comfortable room with a large bathroom with an excellent shower. The staff are also outstanding. The restaurant food was fabulous, plentiful and graciously served. Short drive to Sigiriya and an hour from Polonnaruwa.

Everything is of the best quality. The rooms have been designed and built with great taste. The beds, sheets, towels - all of great material and pure luxury. The place is nice and tranquil, the food is outstanding, the pool area beautiful. Spa also fantastic.

The location is impeccable, the view is superb, the overall quality and beauty of the area is just outstanding. You can see the Lion Rock just from your balcony, and you can get to it by foot. On the other hand you’ll have a view over the rice field (hence the name of the place), and you can also walk to a nearby lake. The host is very welcoming and friendly. He owns a woodcarving shop which is located nearby and worth a visit (we’ve got some lovely souvenirs from him with a substantial discount)
This place is unbelievable. Unlimited luxury, great design, superb service, attentive and helpful staff. And very affordable. Great sport facilities. Probably, one of the best hotel pool with a view to kill you can imagine. Their cabins in the jungle are huge and super comfy.
Staff was exciting, they can manage whatever you want or need (of course in law rules), you can order taxi or excursions for a good prices. Room was really good and made for relaxation, of course, not a 5 stars hotel, but it's good. By the way, they can even make some changes in their menu by your wishes :)

The forest sounds made you feel one with nature; while maintaining the standards of a luxury room. The food was also first class.

We originally booked 4 nights but we stayed for 5. We scheduled an activity every day. The menu is attractive with reasonable prices and has enough variety. The chef has finesse and class presenting every dish. The tranquility and peacefulness of the resort is outstanding. Fantastic views, very big rooms and classy material is being used. The distance is close for climbing both rocks. A huge and very clean pool. Hirath was excellent in looking after our every need and so did the lovely owners.
