The host was extremely nice and helped out as much as he could. The house had all the facilities as mentioned (except for the ones mentioned below). The house is as nice as it looks in the pictures. Very clean and with an exceptional view.

The breakfast was amazing with a variety of selection to choose from. Martina was extremely helpful in providing us and giving suggestions on where to visit. She was friendly and polite to interact with. I wish every person I encountered was open and non judgmental.

We had a fantastic time in Mikro Livadi Hotel. The family that owns /runs it, really is very helpfull and sweet. We ate several times at the hotel's exclusive restaurant and every time the food was excellent, fresh and often from their own farm. We had meat, seafood and some vege pies, plus all side veggies that were availlable I guess :), although we would've been just fine with their cheese, bread and olive oil ... haha. Much like mama's kitchen, I would say.
The apartment we had was clean, spacious, had everything that we needed. Just outside the terrace there was an array of beautiful plants, among them a lime tree, lavender bush, and jasmin. Oh, the scent !!! I once stayed half a night reading a book on the terrace just intoxicated with these aromas.
There were clean towels and sheets every few days, plus a set of pool towels too. The pool was great, just perfect size and depth to swimm and for kids to have fun.
The beach is just few minutes away, large, with beach bars and showers.

The breakfast was excellent with some many different choices to choose from. Tasty breads, eggs in different ways and other cooked breakfast goodies, yummy cakes, fruits. You could ask for special coffees and frappes at breakfast without extra charge.
The staff was so friendly and helpful and always smiling, they all made you feel really welcome. The rooms and communal areas were very clean. There was always space by the pool, and it was good that throughout the day there always are sunny and also shady areas by the pool. Pool towels were free of charge and for a beach towel you pay 2 euros.
Great location a minute walk from the beach promenade with shops and restaurants and 15-20 minute walk to Rethymnon old town. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

This has to be one of the finest places to stay anywhere in Crete. We wanted somewhere small where you get the personal touch, yet somewhere operating to luxury standards. Here we got both. By the end we got to know all the staff who were exceptional. Nowhere have I felt more relaxed than here in 25 years of travelling. Location is perfect for easy access to the whole of wonderful Plakias.
Outstanding breakfast and dinner included in our bedroom rate. Great choice. Great common areas for relax, swimming pool very well kept, kids pool could use a bit more shade, but otherwise great. Lovely Tuesday evening live music entertainment. Very good size bedrooms. Staff was always super helpful and smiling.
Eleni is the sweetest host who makes you feel at home immediately. The house is located on a hill from where you have a superb view over Plakias and the bay but also you walk into the town center in 2 minutes. The rooms were typical Greek and I liked it very much. Clean, spacious and well equipped.
The room was pleasant with a superb view of the bay from the balcony. It wasn't that far from the cafes and beach. The room presented well and had nice linen with wifi ac and small fridge working well. A pleasant surprise was a basic kitchenette in the external hallway. Great value.
Luxury home away from home with all amenities and beyond, the hosts were wonderful, very good communication for checking in and out, and made us very welcome with some treats. Highly recommend Paul's Villa. Thank you for having us!
The property was superb. The kitchen is very well equipped - there is a microwave, toaster, water heater, as well as plates and silverware. It is very well maintained and very clean. There are two terraces and a big garden where you can spend the time :) we stayed a week and loved every moment of it. The owner is very kind and welcoming!
