We were met by a very welcoming and lovely host who is also the owner (German speaking which was a nice + for us). We soon realised that this place is very special indeed – not only historically but also how it is run as a hotel now. There are only 9 rooms which is a great number and every guest feels that appreciation. We were treated to an excellent breakfast spread (à la carte), all freshly made by an excellent chef and lovely family members. We really enjoying trying local recipes and ingredients. A great amount of care and consideration is taken in the preparation and origin of the meals. The same can be said for the selected dinner options in the evening. Homemade bread, homemade greek pasta, excellent fish dishes, the list goes on and on... The location in Limeni is also perfect. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets every night and loved swimming in the "swimming pool-like" water every day! The "fishing village" is very small which is very relaxing. It really looks like a beautiful film scenery. We were happy to be here before all the summer tourists overrun the place though as it is a super popular place for greeks and international tourists! Also strongly recommend to visit the entire Marni coast as all the areas around Limeni are stunning. There is definitely enough to visit and enjoy!
