A really quirky pretty little cottage with the added bonus of a large outside area. Owner lives just up the road, very friendly and there just in case of any issues, I did not have any issues. Pretty little village within easy walking distance of Kings Lynn.

The staff and the food is exceptional .we arrived on a Wednesday and luckily our first experience of the Anchor carvery which I know has a massive reputation of being excellent ...it certainly was THE best flavours I've ever had from a carvery outside of home ...the meats and the gravy outstanding and cauli cheese tasted if cheese ...not just a creamy looking sauce ! It was amazing . Breakfasts have always been superb and other meals on offer when we have been previously.

Breakfast absolutely superb, great quality produce and cooked to perfection. Evening meals also good quality and plenty of choice. Price range fairly reasonable. Room was spacious and comfortable but needs some tidying up, furnishings a bit shabby but very comfy bed.

After a very long journey we arrived at the Boathouse and were welcomed very warmly by Tracey, our room was clean and tidy and provided us with all we needed for our stay , the bed was very comfortable and both my friend and I slept very well. Tracey went out of her way to help us sort travel to an event which was very much appreciated, Our breakfast was cooked superbly and as some who never usually has breakfast, it was a real treat.
