Really comfortable and spacious room. Kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed. Really appreciated that there was a dishwasher and that the room was regularly cleaned. Liked most of the accommodation for 1-2 nights. However, It was a small bedroom, comfy bed, nice bathroom. Living area good space . However there were NO blinds on the front windows. If you were sitting /cooking watching TV on an evening or during the day. People would pass your door and could see right inside your sitting area/ lounge. No real privacy except in Bedroom/ bathroom.

Everything from start to finish was absolutely outstanding. The deluxe room was very comfortable, the gym facilities were very good, and the breakfast was of a high standard. The staff were extremely friendly too.
The reception staff were a delight, the breakfast was superb (please order the poached eggs, they were done to perfection). The bed was extremely comfy, all in all a wonderful stay. Next time we stay, we would upgrade our room to make it that little more special. Thank you Grey Hotel for having us.

Hotel was tucked away at the lower end of Grey Street, found it a little difficult to find as a 'number' wasn't visible on the door and it didn't look overly obvious from outside. Room was a neat little twin in a corner position with lovely dual aspect views. Beds super comfy.
Breakfast was superb - compliments to the chef and the cheery breakfast waitress (26/4).
This is a family run business and a family that care about their guests. Ellie and her son Alex were so welcoming and made us feel like one of the family.
The castle is absolutely stunning and has so much character and charm.
The food was outstanding, amazing menu choices, cooked to perfection and beautifully presented.
The room is spacious and has everything you need and the bed was super comfy.

Brian & Megan are the epitome of great customer service. So friendly and welcoming, we were given complimentary breakfast by Megan AND complimentary drinkies by Brian, for when we got back from the concert we were attending. I've been to this hotel a few times for various other gigs and to be recognised by Brian is amazing considering the amount of people he must see. 5 stars to both Brian and Megan 🌟
