Impressive setting with lovely grounds to explore and within easy reach of North Berwick and other coastal towns. All the staff were very helpful and efficient. Excellent food in the restaurant both at dinner and breakfast with an option to eat in the lounge area rather than the restaurant. The afternoon tea can be recommended.

They often have a central location which makes exploring the main sights a breeze.
Superb continental breakfast with everything we could imagine.
Luxurious comfort of an era gone by.
Excellent location in historic village with opportunity to follow numerous walking trails
Superb country hotel without all the modern "rubbish" Absolutely nothing to fault, although might be difficult for some because a lot of stairs. The location for a stopover travelling north or visiting Edinburgh is unbeatable. The fantastic price is perhaps because of the location, might be hard for Chelsea Tractors.
Friendly staff and locals.Lovely old school hotel my beloved late partner would have liked it here.We were 4 lads on a golfing trip.Breakfast was outstanding.Room was more than decent.
Breakfast was very good - poached egg cooked to perfection (although they didn't have all items we prebooked from list night before). Staff were friendly. Fine for one night stay but very expensive for the actual facilities.
The evening meal in the pub was very good, They have a proper chef. The location was also excellent within the village and surrounding countryside.
