Magnificent old house, lovely peaceful grounds, room luxurious , huge and quiet, beds so comfortable, duvet and pillows top quality, bathroom excellent with nice toiletries. Welcoming tray with fine teas and biscuits, Staff delightful and so obliging. Restaurant very nice, close to centre, good parking.
The staff were excellent. the chef even changed the vegetable curry to a chicken one for my husband. nothing was too much trouble and everyone was so friendly and professional

I loved everything about it! The staff were absolutely brilliant and so friendly couldn’t have done more for me and my family! Compliments to the chef’s as well as the food was delicious on both nights for dinner! so much so I am bringing my mother and grandmother down for the steak pie as it’s the best myself and my son have ever tasted! Outstanding hotel and clean, what more could you want 😃
